Arkan for contracting is a relatively new real-estate company. This company surprised the market with a group of projects that are known for their unique concept, which is due to the beginning of the company as a collaboration between the famous Arkan developments and Palm hills developments. This new entity began 12 years ago in the field of development and construction with more than 20 various projects, some are residential, administrative and even commercial. One of the reasons Arkan for Contracting got to where they now reside in the Egyptian market is due to their strategic projects’ locations, especially The New Administrative Capital, being their new target city, achieving their goal to contribute in Egypt’s vision 2030.
Arkan also focused their efforts to target Sheikh Zayed, 6th of October and many other new cities, they even started projects in coastal cities, deciding to spend billions in investments to show their projects to the world.

· Arkan for Constructing saw the light of day thanks to the Chairman of the company, Engineer Amr Badr.
· Amr is the son of Badr El-Deen, owner of Badr El-Deen Holdings, the famous group in the construction world.
· He graduated from the faculty of engineering then worked for his father for a while, he decided to leave his home land to cultivate the knowledge he felt was needed to become what he now is, a pioneer in his sector.
· He became the regional director of one of the biggest companies in Egypt and the Middle East, Abercrombie & Kent in 1999.
· He is also considered the private advisor of Carbon Holdings.
· He worked as an international affairs consultant in one of the best universities in Egypt, The Future University.
· He was one of Orascom’s board of directors, the famous real-estate company
· In 2013, he joined Partners for a New Beginning, which is an international organization based in Egypt.
· He worked in many organizations that help spread peace in the world, such as Seeds of Peace and People to people.

The rise of Arkan for Contracting
· Arkan Egypt for contracting was founded in 2009. It is considered a new company that has a different approach compared with its competitors.
· As we previously mentioned, the company is a product of collaboration between Arkan Developments and Palm Hills Developments
· The company started building distinguished projects, so unique that it became known in the Egyptian market, which is considered quite astonishing due to the many competitors in the field.
· Arkan Egypt signed a banking alliance with The Egyptian bank and The Housing and Development Bank, the Suez Canal Bank, and finally the United Bank.
· They started with a capital of 1.5 billion pounds, building bit by bit what we see now.
· They decided that the best way to elevate the quality of their projects was to collaborate with The American Gensler Company, receiving their designs from one of the best in the field worldwide.
· They were successful in establishing a new concept of living, they continue to do this with every project they build.
