New Alamein

New Alamein is a city located in Matrouh Governorate, Egypt. It is considered one of the fourth generation cities. The total area of ​​New Alamein City is 48130.82 acres and the target population is about two million. The city’s foundation stone was laid on March 1, 2018. 

City location:
The city limits of El Alamein start from Wadi El-Natrun Road to El-Dabaa. The Alexandria-Matrouh International Road is diverted from the 93rd kilometer to the intersection of Wadi Al-Natrun Al-Alamein to be the entrance to the city of Al-Alamein with a length of 33 kilometers. The new city of El Alamein is located within the administrative borders of Marsa Matrouh Governorate, with a length of 48 km from the international road (Alexandria – Matrouh). The city is divided into a tourist, historical and residential segment. The first tourism investment segment is located on the Mediterranean coast, the second investment segment is located south of the Alexandria-Matrouh International Road, and the third segment is the historical and archaeological area of ​​El Alamein Cemetery.
